Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible

This website is operated by Santanu K., trading as SKEdgeloop. If you contact me, I am the controller for the information you choose to share.

2. What the site collects

This is a static site on Cloudflare Pages. It is deliberately light on tracking:

Anonymous visit log — one record per visit is stored (Supabase via my own Worker): IP address, approximate country/region/city, device and browser facts, screen size, timezone, language, the page path, and a timestamp. Used only for aggregate statistics and abuse prevention.
Contact form — your name, email, and message. Used solely to reply to you.
Voluntary clicks — email, X, GitHub, and LinkedIn links take you to those providers, whose own policies apply from that point.

3. Cookies & local storage

No tracking cookies are set. The browser's local storage holds one flag (skedge_counted) so the visitor counter doesn't double-count you. No sessionStorage is used. See the Cookie Policy.

4. Analytics

Analytics is OFF by default — ANALYTICS_ID is empty in the current config and only activates if SKEDGELOOP_DYNAMIC_ANALYTICS=1 is set. Cloudflare keeps standard edge logs (security events) as part of hosting. I use these to see what's working, not to profile you.

5. Where data lives

Site hosting and edge logs — Cloudflare (US and global edge).
Visit log — Supabase.
Form messages — my email provider, so I can reply.
Analytics — Google (OFF by default; only if explicitly enabled).

6. What I never do

No ad networks. No data sales. No profile-building. No newsletter unless you ask. Form messages are kept only as long as the conversation lasts, then deleted.

7. Your rights

You can ask me to show, correct, or delete anything tied to you — a form message or your visit records. Email skedgeloop@outlook.com and I'll action it within 30 days. No ID or reason required.

8. Children

The site is aimed at adults and collects nothing knowingly from children under 13.

9. Changes

If the policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it. Continued use after that means you accept the update.
